Watch an early season Miami dolphins home game. Away team is in full sun. Dolphins are in the shade. It was 120 degrees on the away sideline and 90 on the dolphins one game I watched. The opposing teams get visibly exhausted by the end of games.
Yeah if you haven’t noticed the Huskers don’t play in Miami very often…

Why is the record-high temperature in Minneapolis 108° while the record high temperature in Miami is only 100°?
Answer (1 of 8): Miami is next to the ocean. It cannot get very much different from the temperature of the Gulf Stream. Minneapolis is inland and can warm up or cool down much more. Also the longest sunlight day of the year June 21 in Miami sees sunlight 13 hours 45 minutes and Minneapolis sees 1...
