If Travis getting hurt was such a big deal, then why didn’t the committee drop FSU out of the top 4 right after he got hurt?

This is the part that makes zero fucking sense. The "committee" deemed FSU was still good enough to be in the top 4 after their QB was hurt, but then all of a sudden the "committee" deemed FSU was not good enough after winning the ACC conference. What changed? The stupid fucking committee never answered that quesiton.

Especially since the last game they played was with a guy at qb who wasn’t going to start in the playoffs. They kept FSU number 4 after the playoff qb had started.

They got fucked because the committee wanted Alabama. There was nothing that Texas did in the CCG to vault it in the ratings. But they decided that leaving out Texas, who had beat Bama, would get more blowback than leaving out FSU. So FSU got fucked because Bama came as a 2-team bundle.

The rest of the tweet FYI:

This would save the university over half a billion dollars, so it's clear how IMPORTANT this lawsuit is... now here's where the ACC really messed up:

In 2016, the ACC signed a 11 year TV deal with ESPN, currently set to expire in 2027. This deal also gave ESPN the option to extend the contract from 2027-2036 on the same terms financially...ESPN had to decide by 2021 whether they would extend from 2027-2036, but ACC commissioner Jim Phillips extended that deadline to February 2025 in a formal amendment that he allegedly signed ON HIS OWN... The ACC bylaws currently require approval from 2/3rds of all members for any amendments, making this action by Phillips a VIOLATION. Legal experts believe that this egregious action technically invalidates the ENTIRE conference contract. This may be the smoking gun that breaks the ACC's Grant of Rights
