He was injured halfway into his junior season which hurt his recruitment.
His family is big into boxing and his father was a pretty good pro boxer. Eric was big into wrestling and boxing but gave it up to focus on football like 3-4 years ago. Then add on he’s from Ardmore ok, it’s easy to get over looked there.

Hilariously, Wisconsin has a guy who's only full time assistant job was at Youngstown State, a puny FCS school. Looks like we really dodged a bullet not going with #2ndChoice since he made such an obviously trash ass hire like that.
