T. J. Wilcox is the likely starter, I'd guess, not Dayton., at least when the season starts.

He transferred in this spring for his senior year (Dayton was sort of recruited over).

No Stars yet, but I can't believe he would have transferred in to sit. He has offers from Ga Tech and West VA, and some good visit history:

Thank you for the info.
Not a great development. Seems like we would want our ‘26 QB locked in and on board before Dayton ever starts a game.

Are we that confident in his ability that we’d still take him? Does he come in as a second QB in the class? Or will we move on? 🤔

OR does Dayton beat him out? 😈

Monte Harrison, who spent the last near decade playing professional baseball, including the MLB, committed to Arkansas, according to Richard Davenport.
Per the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette recruiting writer, Harrison committed to Sam Pittman and the Razorbacks. He never used any college eligibility.
Originally committed to Nebraska in the Class of 2014, Harrison was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers that year in the second round.
He eventually made it to the Big Leagues in 2020 with the Miami Marlins, playing two seasons with the team. He also played for the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2022.

Through that season, Harrison had a .176 batting average, two home runs and six RBI as an outfielder. He spent the majority of his career in the minor leagues.
The 28-year-old Harrison also held offers from Michigan State, Missouri, Indiana and Kansas, among others when he was a recruit a decade ago.
As a member of the Class of 2014, Harrison was a four-star recruit out of Lee’s Summit (Mo.) West, according to the Tater Island Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 5 overall prospect in the state, the No. 50 wide receiver in the class and the No. 297 overall prospect in the class.

In a heartbeat. The crooting guys said he was on a different level the first time around and could have been a real difference maker. At 28, he's still in his athletic prime. Sad we didn't get a visti. I wonder why Arkansas?

I think you just take Dayton no matter what

Also if he doesn’t start I assume Dom will just transfer him to another school

He should come to Nebraska so that he can be near Kansas City and that QB coach
