We don't need him to be our QB of the future, we just need him to be our QB of the next two games. If he can focus until next Friday he can go party as much as he wants haha.

1. Those rumors were true. But what's interesting is Brock Purdy never became a household name until well after the Nebraska 2022 season was over. Hell, it was mid December before the country starting talking about Brock. Its possible that spotlight may have motivated Chubba a bit.
2. That lack of focus costs you in the off season more than anything. Purdy had a pretty notorious party rep in the Summer before 2022 and during that season.
3. Nebraska doesn't need to complete a bunch of passes, they just need to avoid throwing them to the other team.
Nobody has been as hard on Purdy as I have, but I honestly felt his performances last season were related to preparation more than talent. It seemed like he didn't give a shit.
Jeff Sins is a God Damn Mess.
Haarberg is limited from a talent standpoint.
Purdy is a real Power 5 QB, but the dude has to care.
